• Visual Control – LED lighting products can be designed to shine the light where needed most for the application instead of simple general illumination
• Brightness & Color – There are different color temperatures available with LED Lighting that allow for different brightness levels. Typically, 3000K lamp temperature is useful for residential applications while 4000K and 5000K are perceived to be brighter and useful for more commercial applications.

• Building Façade – the walls and ground perimeter of a building can be illuminated with for safety and security purposes and for identifying a business at night
• Pathways – illuminating a pathway along an outdoor wall or breezeway can direct people to the proper area
• Doorway – the area around a doorway should be properly lit for safety and security purposes and for identification of the door. This can be either an outside doorway to the interior or a larger garage door
